PTA

Our PTA are a friendly team who work very hard to raise funds for our school.  In the Summer Term of 2017 we managed to win lottery funding to purchase 20 Ipads for the children to use as well as other technology for the school.  Over the past year we have organised fundraising events that have included sponsored walks, pop up shops for mother's day and father's day, a Halloween party and Christmas fayre as well as providing refreshments for  after school performances, and of course the popular Bingo evenings held at Clows Top Village Hall.  Check out our calendar from the home page to find out what events they have planned.

It's proving a very busy time for our PTA in the lead up to Christmas.  Firstly, our pop-up gift shop will be in school during morning break times with gifts for parents/carers/grandparnets, all beautifully wrapped for £2 each.  The pop-up shops will run on Tuesday, 5th December and Thursday 9th during morning break.

Next, the Christmas Fair is all set for Friday, 8th December , which will be held in the hall immediately after school until 5.30pm.  We have some wonderful activities for the children, including a living nativity scene and Father Christmas' Grotto.  If anyone can provide us with a sheep for the nativity, please let a member of the PTA know. Also, at the Christmas Fair we are asking for donations of cakes (the more Christmassy the better, as well as helpers to serve the refreshments.  We are also planning on making hot food available for the children who will be famished after a busy week at school, so the more hands in the kitchen the better.  Finally, every class has made a Christmas-themed craft item to be sold at the fair and we could do with some sensible pupils and a supervising adult to do this.  If your child would like to help out at the fair, please let a member of the PTA know.

 

 

Our next meeting will be held after school drop off on Friday, 1st December when we will be discussing our festive fundraising events as well as wrapping presents for the Pop up Shops in the school playground the following week.

 

We are delighted to announce that we will be holding a Christmas Fayre after school on Friday, 8th December. There will be a Santa's grotto, refreshments and stalls to purchase Christmas gifts.
