Bayton Church of England Primary School is an exciting and inspiring place to learn. Our success stems from a relentless drive to make learning meaningful and memorable. Ofsted and the Church of England have judged us to be outstanding and we strive to meet high academic standards. In December 2012 the school was awarded an outstanding grade in all areas of achievement, teaching, behaviour, safety, leadership and management. However this is only part of the story as we offer a broad and balanced curriculum with a wealth of opportunities in sports, arts and outdoor activities. We continually encourage our children to explore, invent and create in our beautiful setting.
We are very much a ‘family’ school: we cultivate and nurture attitudes of support, respect and care in all our activities and relationships. As a Church of England school our Christian vision and values curriculum are at the heart of all we do. Guided by the Christian values that underpin our work here, we want every child, from a background of faith or none, to know that they will be nurtured, valued and cared for. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Children have just one childhood; we believe their primary school experience should be an exciting, magical one which will set them on the path for success.
